Below is a table containing limiting V speeds for operating the Boeing 717-200 series. All speeds assume a maximum takeoff weight of 49,900kg and IAS reference speed.
Boeing 717-200 S.O.P's (Standard Operating Procedures)
Below is a list of Standard Operating Procedures that Qantas Virtual Airlines Pilots are to aim to fly each time they operate one of our aircraft. These S.O.Ps are being introduced to aid Check Ride pass rates and to give the pilot a learning tool to help in flying the aircraft to Airline Specific parameters thus enhancing the learning and enjoyment environment experienced within Qantas Virtual Airways and Flight Simulator.
Below 3,000ft
210kts Maximum IAS
Instrument Approach - Base Leg
190kts Minimum, maximum IAS must satisfy the "Below 3,000ft" criteria.
ILS Approach - 6 Miles
160kts Minimum Gear Down - Gear down no sooner than 7 miles.
Stable Approach
1,000ft Rad Alt - (Stable = Vref -0kts / +15kts and within ½ scale deflection LLZ/GS, landing Power Set)
° Nose Attitude
+1° / +3° - From the Stable call at 1,000ft the nose attitude of the aircraft should be in the stated range.
Non Precision Approach
Fully Configured by the FAF (Final Approach Fix) - Fully Configured means Gear Down, Landing Flap and Vref.
